"Ajax Tabs With Auctions" Price Tapestry Template
This template has been stuffed with fancy Ajax functionality to take it beyond a standard template. It has been tastefully done so it does not impact on usability - if the user does not have JavaScript enabled, the scripts degrade gracefully.
A green-blue graduated background is overlaid with a white content panel. Hyperlinks are a royal blue colour and turn to a deep green when hovered over.
A list of categories is dynamically generated in the sidebar though though those who run large sites may find this slows down the performance. This can be disabled if required.
The use of Ajax means modern browsers (IE 6+, Firefox, etc.) need to be used to get the best out of this template. the template uses the jQuery framework to power the Ajax scripts (Lightbox and Tabs). Ajax scripts are supplied with this template free of charge under licence for convenience. These scripts are unsupported by Price Tapestry Templates.
The product pages use tabs to separate the product keeping the content crisp and clean. A Lightbox is used to showcase the product image when clicked upon. The template can also parse eBay RSS feeds allowing you to dynamically showcase related auctions in a separate tab. naturally, this functionality can be disabled if required.
This template has been designed for viewing at a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 and consists of 1 main content area with 1 sidebar.
This template has been optimised for you so it really is ready to run as soon as it is installed. The "Brand:, Merchant: and Category:" phrases that appeared in the search box have been removed. Also, the page titles have been optimised making sure your site name is always in there along with the current category, product, brand or merchant's name.
