Is PriceTapestryTemplates.com anything to do with PriceTapestry.com?

No. There is no relationship between the company behind Price Tapestry (IAAI Software) and the company behind PriceTapestryTemplates.com (DBFCS). DBFCS has been granted permission to distribute templates for Price Tapestry by IAAI Software.

If I buy a template from you, is Price Tapestry included?

No. My templates are only compatible with Price Tapestry and you will need a licence to use and download Price Tapestry. Visit www.pricetapestry.com to buy Price Tapestry, then come back here to buy templates for it.

Are you using Price Tapestry on this website right now?

As I are the only seller of my templates, there is no need for a price comparison! This website is built using 100% custom written code care of myself.

Can I try a demo of the templates?

Yes and no. Whilst I don't have a live demo site for you to try, I do link to clients so you can see what they have done to their templates. I am also looking at adding video tours to template sales pages. Please note that every template advertised on this website shows detailed pictures of what the template looks like in use.

Are the templates XHTML and CSS valid?

The templates impact very slightly on the existing Price Tapestry code but all of it is XHTML compliant to the level Price Tapestry is. The CSS is all valid.

Do you offer CSS-only (i.e. tableless) templates?

Firstly, it is not advised that Price Tapestry is tableless. Tables (in terms of website design) are intended for displaying data such as the price comparison and reviews sections within Price Tapestry. Where possible, all other tables have been removed as these are deemed unneccessary and similar effects can be produced via CSS. The benefit of using CSS is that one change made to the stylesheet rolls out across your entire Price Tapestry site instantly, whih could be a few pages to millions of webpages.

I live outside of the United Kingdom. Can I buy a template from you?

I use Google Checkout and PayPal to accept credit and debit card sales from countries they serve. I have had sales from all over the world from just down the road right round to Australia, The United States of America, Asia and Africa. These are only a sample of sales. We have hundreds of satisfied customers around the globe.

Can I edit the template?

Sure. You may want to change bits and bobs to make it more personal to you. I offer guidance on what to do in our customisation forum. Just remember not to resell the template afterwards.

Can you edit the template for me?

Of course I can but sometimes it will cost extra. It depends on what it is you are after. I'm very willing to help you too so if you have a question about where to find some code or which CSS command you need to edit to change a colour on the site, all you have to do is ask. I offer guidance on what to do in my customisation forum but if you would rather I did it all for you, please contact us and I will arrange something for you.

Can you explain sidebar.php, blurb.php and adsense.php?

Sidebar.php doesn't appear in all templates. In the ones it does, this lets you add text and menu options to the sidebar in that template. Blurb.php appears in every template and allows you to write a few paragraphs about your website. This will appear only on the home page of the template. Adsense.php is designed so you can add Google AdSense to your site or a banner. This appears on every page of your site.

I know nothing about computers. Are your templates easy to install?

If you can install Price Tapestry, you can install our templates. Once you have extracted the files after downloading the template, all you have to do is upload them to your Price Tapestry installation folder on your web server. Our templates require no setting up or editing. They are ready to use right away. The installation guide can be found here.

I have 100 websites running Price Tapestry. Can I use your template on multiple websites?

As with Price Tapestry, you can use the template on any number of websites you own. You are not allowed to transfer the template if you sell the website and I would require the new owner to purchase a new licence. Essentially, each licence covers a person not an individual website.

Quite simply, no. Our templates are only for sale via www.pricetapestrytemplates.com.
